G-I CLE Results August 2026: Criminology Licensure Examination Passers Expected This September

The G-I CLE Results for the August 2026 Criminology Licensure Examination are among the most highly anticipated Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announcements this year, as thousands of aspiring criminologists across the Philippines await the official release of their board examination results. Candidates who completed the three-day licensure examination on August 1, 2, and 3, 2026 are expected to learn whether they have successfully earned the title of Registered Criminologist when the PRC releases the results in September 2026.

Based on the PRC’s target schedule, the results of the August 2026 Criminology Licensure Examination (CLE), including the complete list of passers, the Top 10 highest-performing examinees, the performance of schools, and the successful examinees arranged alphabetically, are expected to be released within twenty-six (26) working days after the last day of the examination. While the commission usually follows its announced timetable, the actual release date may vary depending on the speed of the checking process and the completion of all post-examination procedures.

The Professional Regulation Commission, through the Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology, administered the nationwide licensure examination in numerous testing centers across the country to accommodate the growing number of criminology graduates seeking professional registration. Examination venues included National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Palawan, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catarman, Cauayan, Dumaguete, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and Kidapawan, reflecting the nationwide scope of one of the country’s largest licensure examinations.

The August 2026 CLE was conducted under the supervision of the Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology, headed by Chairman Hon. Ramil G. Gabao, together with board members Hon. Lani T. Palmones and Hon. Warren M. Corpuz. The board oversaw the preparation, administration, and evaluation of the examination to ensure that it complied with the standards established for the criminology profession in the Philippines.

As in previous licensure examinations, the PRC is expected to publish several official result categories upon release. These include the alphabetical list of successful examinees, the list of top-performing schools, the performance of schools, and the names of the Top 10 examinees who achieved the highest overall ratings in the examination. These reports are closely followed by educational institutions, review centers, employers, and aspiring criminologists as indicators of academic excellence and institutional performance.

The PRC also announced that the examination results of three (3) examinees were withheld pending the final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations. Meanwhile, the results of two (2) examinees were withheld pending the submission of the required documents, while the results of five (5) other examinees were withheld for further verification of the documents they submitted. Such cases are part of the commission’s standard regulatory procedures to ensure that all applicants fully comply with the requirements governing professional licensure examinations before their results are officially finalized.

The release of the August 2026 Criminology Licensure Examination results represents a significant milestone for thousands of examinees who have spent years completing their academic studies and months preparing for one of the most important examinations of their professional careers. Passing the board examination opens opportunities for employment in various sectors, including the Philippine National Police, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, the Bureau of Fire Protection, the Bureau of Corrections, the National Bureau of Investigation, private security organizations, forensic services, criminological research, and other fields related to public safety and criminal justice.

Graduates, their families, review centers, and academic institutions are expected to closely monitor the PRC’s official announcement throughout September 2026 as anticipation continues to build nationwide.
