A-C CLE Results August 2026: PRC to Release Criminology Licensure Examination Results in September
Thousands of aspiring criminologists across the Philippines are eagerly awaiting the release of the August 2026 Criminology Licensure Examination (CLE) results, as the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is expected to publish the official list of passers in September 2026, approximately twenty-six (26) working days after the conclusion of the national board examinations. The results will include the complete alphabetical list of successful examinees, the Top 10 highest-performing examinees, and the performance of schools nationwide.

The August 2026 Criminology Licensure Examination was administered on August 1, 2, and 3, 2026, drawing thousands of graduates seeking to earn their professional licenses and officially join the ranks of registered criminologists in the country. The three-day examination covered the essential competencies and professional standards required under the Philippine criminology profession, serving as one of the most significant milestones for graduates pursuing careers in law enforcement, criminal investigation, corrections, forensic science, and public safety.

Following the completion of the nationwide examinations, the Professional Regulation Commission announced that the official results are expected to be released in September 2026, in accordance with the commission’s schedule of approximately 26 working days after the last examination day. Once released, the results will be made available through the PRC’s official channels and will include the alphabetical list of passers arranged by surname initials, the list of top-performing examinees, and the performance ratings of colleges and universities whose graduates participated in the examination.

The PRC also disclosed that the examination results involving several examinees remain under review. According to the commission, the results of three (3) examinees were withheld pending the final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations. Meanwhile, the results of two (2) examinees were temporarily withheld pending the submission of required documentary requirements, while five (5) other examinees remain under further verification due to documents submitted for validation. These cases will be resolved separately in accordance with existing PRC policies before any final determination is made.

This year’s Criminology Licensure Examination was conducted simultaneously in numerous testing centers across the country to accommodate the large number of examinees. Examination venues included the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Palawan, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catarman, Cauayan, Dumaguete, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and Kidapawan. The extensive network of testing centers reflects the nationwide demand for licensed criminologists and the growing number of graduates entering the profession each year.

The examination was administered under the supervision of the Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology, headed by Chairman Hon. Ramil G. Gabao, together with board members Hon. Lani T. Palmones and Hon. Warren M. Corpuz. The board is responsible for ensuring that the licensure examination is conducted fairly, securely, and in accordance with the standards established by the Professional Regulation Commission and existing laws governing the criminology profession in the Philippines.

The Criminology Licensure Examination remains one of the country’s most closely watched professional board examinations, as successful candidates become eligible to pursue careers in the Philippine National Police (PNP), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Bureau of Corrections (BuCor), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), forensic laboratories, private security organizations, and various government agencies involved in criminal justice administration.

As September approaches, examinees and their families continue to anticipate the official announcement from the PRC, hoping to see their names included among the country’s newest licensed criminologists. Aside from determining who successfully passed the examination, the release will also recognize the highest-performing examinees and educational institutions that demonstrated excellence in criminology education.

Once officially released, the A-C alphabetical list of passers for the August 2026 Criminology Licensure Examination, along with the complete roster of successful examinees, the Top 10 passers, and the performance of schools, will provide another milestone in the professional journey of thousands of future criminologists who aspire to contribute to the country’s justice system and public safety sector.
