Thousands of aspiring criminologists across the country are eagerly awaiting the publication of the official results following the three-day licensure examination conducted on August 1, 2, and 3, 2026. The examination was administered by the Professional Regulation Commission through the Board of Criminology, which continues to uphold professional standards in the field of criminology and law enforcement education in the Philippines.

Once officially released, the D-F list of passers will contain the names of successful examinees whose family names begin with the letters D, E, and F. The PRC is also expected to publish the complete alphabetical roster of passers, the list of top-performing examinees, the performance of schools, and other important announcements related to the examination.

According to the PRC, the results of the August 2026 Criminology Licensure Examination will likewise include several special cases involving examinees whose records remain under review. The commission announced that the examination results of three (3) examinees were withheld pending the final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations. Meanwhile, the results of two (2) examinees were withheld pending the submission of the required documents, while the examination results of five (5) examinees remain under further verification of the documents they submitted.

The August 2026 CLE was simultaneously administered in numerous testing centers nationwide, reflecting the continued demand for licensed criminologists in both government and private sectors. Examination venues included the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Palawan, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catarman, Cauayan, Dumaguete, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and Kidapawan.

The licensure examination was conducted under the supervision of the PRC Board of Criminology, headed by Chairman Hon. Ramil G. Gabao, together with board members Hon. Lani T. Palmones and Hon. Passing the Criminology Licensure Examination is a significant milestone for graduates aspiring to become registered criminologists. Successful examinees become eligible for professional registration with the PRC, opening opportunities to serve in various law enforcement agencies, correctional institutions, forensic organizations, crime laboratories, security firms, and other sectors that require licensed criminology professionals.

The examination covers essential areas of criminology, including criminal jurisprudence, law enforcement administration, criminalistics, crime detection and investigation, forensic science, correctional administration, criminal sociology, ethics, and other professional subjects designed to measure the competence and preparedness of future criminologists.

As the anticipated release date approaches, examinees are encouraged to monitor official PRC announcements for the publication of the results. The commission is expected to release the complete list of passers, including the D-F alphabetical roster, through its official channels once the examination results have been finalized and approved by the Board of Criminology.
