V-Z CLE Results August 2026: PRC Criminology Licensure Examination Passers to Be Released in September

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is expected to release the V-Z list of passers for the August 2026 Criminology Licensure Examination (CLE) in September 2026, marking one of the most highly anticipated announcements for thousands of aspiring criminologists across the Philippines. Candidates whose surnames begin with the letters V to Z are advised to monitor the official release of results, which will include the complete roster of successful examinees, the Top 10 highest-performing examinees, and the overall performance of schools nationwide.

The August 2026 Criminology Licensure Examination was administered on August 1, 2, and 3, 2026, under the supervision of the Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology. Based on the PRC’s examination schedule, the official results are expected to be released within twenty-six (26) working days after the final day of the examination, placing the target release date in September 2026, unless adjustments are announced by the Commission.

Once officially published, the results will provide a comprehensive breakdown of successful examinees, including the alphabetical list of passers from A to Z, with this page specifically covering examinees whose surnames begin with the letters V through Z. The announcement will also include the list of the Top 10 examinees, showcasing those who obtained the highest ratings in the licensure examination, as well as the performance of schools, reflecting the passing rates of colleges and universities that offered criminology programs.

The PRC also noted that several examination results remain subject to administrative review. According to the Commission, the examination results of three (3) examinees have been withheld pending the final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations. Meanwhile, the results of two (2) examinees have been withheld pending the submission of the required documents, while the examination results of five (5) examinees remain under further verification of the documents they submitted. These cases will be resolved separately in accordance with existing PRC rules and procedures before any final determination is made.

Thousands of aspiring criminologists took the three-day board examination in testing centers strategically located across the country to accommodate examinees from various regions. Examination venues included the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Palawan, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catarman, Cauayan, Dumaguete, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and Kidapawan. The nationwide administration of the examination reflects the continuing demand for licensed criminologists who will serve in law enforcement, public safety, corrections, forensic investigation, and other sectors of the criminal justice system.

The examination was conducted under the supervision of the Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology, headed by Chairman Hon. Ramil G. Gabao, together with Board Members Hon. Lani T. Palmones and Hon. Warren M. Corpuz. The Board remains responsible for ensuring that the licensure examination is administered fairly and in accordance with the standards established by the Professional Regulation Commission.

Passing the Criminology Licensure Examination represents a significant milestone for graduates pursuing careers in public service and criminal justice. Successful examinees become eligible to register as licensed criminologists after completing the PRC’s post-examination requirements, including the registration process and the administration of the professional oath. Licensure opens opportunities for employment in the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Bureau of Corrections (BuCor), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), forensic laboratories, private security organizations, and various government agencies requiring criminology professionals.
