The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that 75 examinees successfully passed the Technical Evaluation for Upgrading as Professional Electrical Engineers conducted this April 2026.
The evaluation was administered by the Board of Electrical Engineering in multiple testing locations, including Doha, Qatar; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; and the National Capital Region (NCR), Philippines.
According to the PRC, the Technical Evaluation is part of the process for upgrading qualified electrical practitioners to the rank of Professional Electrical Engineer, recognizing their advanced competencies and professional experience in the field.
The Board of Electrical Engineering that conducted the evaluation is composed of Engr. Adelino V. Garcia Jr. (Chairman), Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza, and Engr. Alex C. Cabugao (Members).
The PRC continues to uphold its mandate of ensuring that only qualified professionals are granted higher professional recognition, reinforcing standards in the country’s electrical engineering practice.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on June 15, 2026.
