PRC Announces 115 Pass Landscape Architects Licensure Examination This July 2026

MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 115 out of 126 examinees successfully passed the July 2026 Landscape Architects Computer-Based Licensure Examination, reflecting another strong performance from aspiring professionals seeking to join the country’s growing landscape architecture sector.

According to the PRC, the computer-based licensure examination was conducted in the National Capital Region (NCR) and Cebu in July 2026 under the supervision of the Board of Landscape Architecture. The examination serves as the final requirement for graduates aspiring to become licensed landscape architects authorized to practice the profession in the Philippines.

Exam Statistics & Passing Rate

Out of the 126 individuals who took the examination, 115 successfully earned passing marks, resulting in a high overall passing rate that highlights the preparedness of many examinees. The successful candidates are now one step closer to officially entering the profession after completing the remaining requirements set by the commission, including the registration process and the taking of the professional oath.

The Board of Landscape Architecture that administered the licensure examination was headed by Officer-in-Charge Hon. Cecilia H. Tence, together with Board Member Hon. Elizabeth H. Espino. The board ensured that the examination was conducted fairly and in accordance with the standards established under Philippine laws governing the practice of landscape architecture.

The Landscape Architects Licensure Examination evaluates the knowledge, technical competence, and professional skills of examinees in areas essential to the profession. PRC Sets August 10 Registration for New Landscape Architects After July 2026 Board Exam

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that the online registration for successful examinees of the July 2026 Landscape Architects Computer-Based Licensure Examination will officially begin on August 10, 2026, allowing newly licensed professionals to secure their Professional Identification Cards (PIC) and Certificates of Registration.

The announcement comes following the release of the July 2026 Landscape Architects Licensure Examination results, where 115 out of 126 examinees successfully passed the examination administered by the Board of Landscape Architecture. The registration process marks the final step before successful examinees can formally practice their profession as licensed landscape architects in the Philippines.

According to the PRC, all successful examinees are required to complete their registration online through the commission’s official website. The agency advised passers to carefully follow the online registration procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient application process for the issuance of their professional licenses.

The PRC reminded newly licensed professionals to prepare all documentary requirements before proceeding with their online appointment. These include the Notice of Admission (NOA), which will be used for identification purposes, a duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, two passport-sized identification photographs with a white background and complete name tag, two sets of documentary stamps, one short brown envelope, and a copy of the Verification of Ratings.

The commission emphasized that applicants should ensure the accuracy and completeness of all submitted information and documents to avoid delays in the processing of their registration. Once the online appointment has been confirmed, applicants are expected to appear on their scheduled date and comply with all existing PRC registration guidelines.

Aside from the registration schedule, the PRC also announced that the verification of examination ratings for the July 2026 Landscape Architects Licensure Examination will be made available online a few working days after the official release of the examination results.

The online verification system will allow both successful and unsuccessful examinees to view their individual examination ratings without having to personally visit PRC offices. This digital service aims to provide faster and more convenient access to examination records for all candidates.

To access their ratings, examinees will need to provide several pieces of information, including the name of the examination, examination date, application number, complete name, and date of birth. Successful examinees may also use the online system to check their official board examination scores as part of their professional records.

Meanwhile, the PRC has yet to announce the official schedule for the oath-taking ceremonies of the successful Landscape Architects Licensure Examination passers. The commission stated that the date and venue remain to be announced (TBA) and will be released through future official advisories.

Once the schedule is finalized, successful examinees who wish to attend the face-to-face mass oath-taking ceremony will be required to register online through the PRC’s online services portal no later than 12:00 noon of the day before the scheduled ceremony. This registration will serve as confirmation of their attendance.

The commission also advised inductees to register in the region where they took the licensure examination and where they intend to complete their professional registration. This arrangement is expected to help facilitate orderly processing and accommodate the large number of newly licensed professionals across different testing centers.

For successful examinees who may be unable to attend the scheduled face-to-face ceremony, the PRC said alternative options will be made available. These include participation in an online oath-taking ceremony or the filing of a request for a special oath-taking, subject to existing commission rules and procedures.

Only after taking the professional oath and completing the registration process can successful examinees legally practice as licensed landscape architects in the country.
