“What happened was a clear disrespect of the Senate institution, disrespect for senators, and a blatant abuse of the power of barricades,” pahayag ni Marcos.

“We will not allow our fellow Filipinos to surrender to the hands of foreigners. For our sovereignty, we will stand firm and unshakable in the midst of any chaos or persecution,” dagdag pa niya.

  • Ronald dela Rosa
  • Christopher Lawrence Go
  • Vitaliano Aguirre II
  • Vicente Danao Jr.
  • Oscar Albayalde
  • Dante Gierran
  • Isidro Lapeña
  • Camilo Cascolan

“I am furious and disappointed with the PNP and other security personnel assigned outside the Senate for failing to control the rowdy and unruly crowd,” ani Sotto.

“Allowing them to assault me while inside my vehicle when I was about to exit the Senate,” dagdag niya.

“The barbaric protesters banged my vehicle repeatedly, threw bottles and cursed foul remarks,” pahayag niya.

“They can see that I am driving alone with no bodyguards,” ani Sotto.

“Wag naman nilang gamitin sa pamumulitika ang pag-uwi ng ating Senate employees, who are doing an honest day’s work,” dagdag niya.

“There is only one reason some bad faith actors are trying very hard to make this controversial event about me and other Minority senators and the times we went home. All this for a man who simply doesn’t want to face the law. That’s it. That’s the whole story,” saad ni Hontiveros.

“Unfortunately, the Senate, The People’s House, the hallowed space where laws are made and rights are defended, was turned into a shooting range. That is desecration, not just of our walls, but of the trust placed in that institution,” ani niya.

“What a historic low for our country,” dagdag pa niya.

“We, Senators, are mere stewards of the Senate. The Senate belongs to the Filipino people, so no one gets to act like they own the place, much less barricade themselves inside it,” pahayag niya.

“We need to get to the bottom of this. The Filipino people deserve a full, independent, and unobstructed accounting. Walang takipan,” sabi niya.

Let’s get our act together,” pagtatapos niya.

“We’ll find out who made this mess… it’s not the government that waved this,” pahayag ng Pangulo kaugnay sa insidente.

“I respectfully urge that the following officials be temporarily relieved from their duties pending the completion of a full, impartial, and independent inquiry,” saad ni Sen.
