The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released the results of the August–September 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE), with 28,652 out of 37,359 examinees successfully passing the examination.
The nursing licensure examination was administered by the Board of Nursing across 26 testing centers throughout the Philippines in August and September 2026. The results were released on September 18, five working days after the completion of the examination.

The latest results reflect the performance of thousands of aspiring registered nurses who took the examination as part of the requirements for professional registration in the Philippines. The examination evaluates the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies expected of candidates seeking to enter the nursing profession.
The PRC also announced that the results of 21 examinees have been withheld pending the final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
The Board of Nursing that administered the examination was composed of Chairperson Hon. Leah Primitiva S. Paquiz, together with Members Hon. Elsie A. Tee, Hon. Zenaida C. Gagno, Hon. Mary Grace C. Lacanaria, Hon. Mila Delia M. Llanes, Hon. Merle L. Salvani, and Hon. Josefina A. Tuazon.
For those who successfully passed the examination, the next step is registration for the issuance of their Professional Identification Card (PIC) and Certificate of Registration (COR). According to the PRC, online registration will begin on October 13, 2026.
Successful examinees are instructed to visit the official PRC website and follow the registration procedures provided by the commission. Applicants must bring a screenshot of the system-generated Registration Form and a valid government-issued identification card during the registration process.
The PRC also reminded successful examinees that they must personally register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The release of the August–September 2026 NLE results marks an important step for thousands of nursing graduates as they move toward professional registration and entry into the healthcare workforce.
