PRC: TOP Performance of Schools March 2026 LET/LEPT Results Secondary & Elementary

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), through the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT), officially released the results of the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) – Secondary Level on May 12, 2026.

The Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) was conducted on March 15, 2026 in 41 testing centers nationwide, including NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Batanes, Bayambang, Bohol, Cauayan, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Laguna, Lipa (Batangas), Maasin (Southern Leyte), Marinduque, Mati, Nueva Vizcaya, Oroquieta (Misamis Occidental), Romblon, Sablayan (Occidental Mindoro), Tagum, Masbate City, and Virac, Catanduanes.

Overall Performance

According to the PRC, a total of 45,001 out of 61,561 examinees (73.10%) successfully passed the Secondary Level examination.

For the Elementary Level, 18,376 out of 32,796 examinees (56.03%) passed the examination.

Of the 45,001 secondary teacher passers:

  • 39,446 were first-time examinees
  • 5,555 were repeaters

Meanwhile, of the 18,376 elementary teacher passers:

  • 15,670 were first-timers
  • 2,706 were repeaters

Top Performing Schools

The PRC also released the list of top performing schools in the March 2026 LET – Secondary Level. These institutions demonstrated outstanding performance based on the number of examinees and overall passing percentage, reflecting their commitment to academic excellence and quality teacher education.

Education institutions that made it to the top performing schools list met the criteria set by the PRC, including a minimum number of examinees and a high overall passing rate.

The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of:

  • Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Vice Chairperson
  • Dr. Paraluman R. Giron, Member

The Board oversaw the conduct and release of the March 2026 LET results.

Withheld Results and Registration Requirements

The PRC announced that the results of fifty-eight (58) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations. Additionally, two (2) examinees’ results were withheld for further verification of submitted documents.

Successful examinees are required to personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals. The requirements for the issuance of the Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are as follows:

  1. Notice of Admission (for identification only)
  2. Downloaded and duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  3. Two (2) passport-size colored photos with white background and complete name tag
  4. Two (2) sets of documentary stamps
  5. One (1) short brown envelope

The March 2026 LET results once again highlight the growing number of qualified educators entering the profession, reinforcing the country’s commitment to strengthening the education sector through licensed and competent teachers.

Top-Performing Schools – Elementary Level

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) recognizes the leading colleges and universities based on results from the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers. Listed below are the top-performing schools for the Elementary level — these institutions had at least 100 examinees who passed and achieved an overall passing rate of 80% or higher, in compliance with Commission Resolution No. 2017-1058 (C), series of 2017.
