Cebu Room Assignments for August 2026 CLE

Prior to the examinations, the Professional Regulation Commission released the official Cebu room assignments, identifying the schools and examination rooms where candidates were scheduled to take the September 2026 Criminology Licensure Examination.

Examinees assigned to Cebu were required to verify their designated room assignments before the examination dates and report early to their assigned testing venues. The PRC reminded all candidates to bring their Notice of Admission, valid identification cards, pencils, and other approved examination materials while strictly observing all examination rules and regulations.

The room assignments played a vital role in ensuring the orderly administration of one of the country’s largest professional licensure examinations, allowing thousands of examinees to complete the board examination under standardized testing conditions.

One of the Largest Board Examinations in the Philippines

The Criminology Licensure Examination remains one of the largest professional board examinations administered annually by the PRC. Every examination cycle attracts thousands of graduates from colleges and universities nationwide seeking to obtain the prestigious Registered Criminologist (RCrim) designation.

A professional license in criminology opens opportunities in various sectors of public safety and criminal justice. Successful examinees become eligible for careers in the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Bureau of Corrections (BuCor), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), forensic laboratories, private security firms, correctional institutions, criminological research organizations, and other government agencies responsible for law enforcement and public safety.

Current Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology

The administration and regulation of the Criminology Licensure Examination are entrusted to the Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology, the specialized administrative body under the Professional Regulation Commission responsible for regulating the criminology profession in the Philippines.

The current Board is composed of:

  • Chairman: Hon. Ramil G. Gabao
  • Board Member: Hon. Lani T. Palmones
  • Board Member: Hon. Warren M. Corpuz

The Board oversees the preparation of examination questions, supervision of examination procedures, checking and validation of examination results, and the implementation of professional standards for licensed criminologists throughout the country.

Following the conclusion of the August 1–3 examinations, answer sheets undergo an extensive evaluation, checking, and validation process before the results receive final approval from the Professional Regulation Commission.

This process ensures that every examinee’s performance is accurately assessed while maintaining the integrity, transparency, and credibility of the licensure examination.

Thousands Await a Life-Changing Announcement

For many examinees, the release of the September 2026 CLE results represents the culmination of years of academic preparation, practical training, and determination. Passing the examination not only grants the Registered Criminologist (RCrim) title but also opens the door to professional careers dedicated to law enforcement, criminal investigation, forensic science, corrections, crime prevention, and public service.

Thousands of candidates from Cebu and other testing centers nationwide are now counting down to august 4, 2026, when the Professional Regulation Commission is expected to release the official results, ushering in a new generation of licensed criminologists ready to contribute to peace, justice, and public safety across the Philippines.
